To date, there have been no written consensus statements specific for combat sports regarding management of combatants who have suffered a concussion or for.

Various organisations and experts have published numerous statements and recommendations regarding different aspects of sports-related concussion including definition, presentation, treatment, management and return to play guidelines.1–7 With the Center for Kinanthropology View full-text INDARES.COM system has been developed in cooperation It is also aiming at increasing users’ knowledgebase in physical activity issues and at providing Purpose of INDARES.COM project is to support education and research in the fi eld of physical activity. On recording, analyzing, and comparing of data concerning physical activity of its users. International project INDARES (INDARES.COM is a complex on-line system focused Preferred martial arts in girls are – karate, kickboxing, judo, and boxing. Martial arts in boys are – kick-boxing, boxing, karate, kung-fu, and taekwon-do. Status and conditions in given area can increase total amount of physical activity. Acquired data allow reappraise efficiency of current sport facilities and offered sport programs. Boys reached 4,992 MET-minutes/weeks, while girls reached 4,246 MET-minutes/weeks.Ĭonclusions: The online form of survey was effective in school environment. The most preferred sport activities in girls are – aerobics, volleyball,Ĭycling, horse riding, basketball, snowboarding, and skating (in-line). The most preferred sport activities in boys are – soccer, ice hockey, basketball, cycling, snowboarding, and skating (in-line). Results: Acquired results indicate, that differences of sport activities between boys and girls are not so obvious. Which will uncover the structure of sport preferences, is useful for consecutive interventions. The preparation of this research methods (online form of questionnaire), The statistical analysis was carried out with Mann-Whitney U-test and international physical activity questionnaire (IPAQ). Material/Methods: We have used two questionnaires: 1. Preferences of their athletes and should try to improve their programs by popular content and interesting Coaches, instructors, and teachers should know the structure of sport The article argues that the modern state-appropriated forms have developed in similar fashion throughout the Indonesian archipelago.īackground: The awareness of the positive effect of active and healthy lifestyle in the adolescent population This article explores traditional and modern forms of Pencak silat of the Suku Mamak in Riau, in which the collaborative roles of musicians, musical instruments and other participants are analysed.

The forms are associated with a range of local legends, religious concepts and philosophies, religions, and systems of customary law (adat), and are components of traditional education. The two components of the term designate the two parts of the one pencak silat genre: pencak, a performance art, and silat, a fighting and self defence art, with the latter sometimes involving the use of weapons such as a sword or dagger. Pencak silat (‘the art of self defence’) is a contemporary umbrella term used in Indonesia and Malaysia and other parts of Southeast Asia to designate the hundreds of traditional and modern martial art genres that are performed either solo or as a duel, and with or without musical accompaniment. The incorporation of the non-linear CI classification tree may provide coaches with a guided and practical tool to aid with decision-makings and devising match strategies. The present findings highlight key fighting characteristics and performance indicators associated with match success.

The binary logistic regression and CI classification tree analyses identified “total takedown success”, “defending takedown success” and “catch success” as the most influential in explaining match outcome, with both models achieving 75% classification accuracy. During counterattacks, SF executed more roundhouse kick (ES=0.31 likely), scissor takedown (ES=0.33 likely) and throws (ES=0.40 very likely). Also, SF performed more defensive side (ES=0.27 possibly) and front kick (ES=0.41 very likely) during defensive manoeuvres. Results showed that SF preferentially utilised the single front kick (Effect sizes ES=0.29 likely) in offense. A magnitude based approach was used to compare for differences in movement characteristics between Semi Finalist (SF) and Non-Semi Finalist (NSF). This study determined the performance characteristics associated with successful exponents in Pencak Silat combat, as well as examined the relationship between performance indicators and match outcome (2015 South-East Asian Games and the 2016 Silat World Championship) using both linear (binary logistic regression) and non-linear (Conditional Interference (CI) classification tree) statistical techniques.
